Skiing!

We went skiing with Andrew's brothers at Bittersweet on Friday. The man made snow was fresh, the hill perfectly wimpy, the ski lodge lodgy, the chairlifts speedy, the snow boarders aplenty, and the Hamm family skiiers happy.

Natalie borrowed random ski clothes and accessories from the closets at the Hamms. The orange jacket was Jon's in high school and really stood out on the slopes. Those glasses are no joke, but proved to be even bigger and better than ski goggles.

Skiing up the hill?

The only thing I was showing off were my old school Olin skis. Not only are they skinny and arrow straight, but there is even a sticker on them good for a free hot wax at Bill & Paul's Sport Haus through spring of 1994. They are true artifacts of a bygone era when the standard back-scratcher was still a legitimate trick and the spread-daffy reigned supreme.

Also, I think Jon bought that coat when he was in middle school.

I also sport a pair of 1994 Olin VCE 205's. Every time I step into those bindings I see that Bill and Paul's sticker and kick myself for not getting the free hot wax.
