Paging Dr. (VA)G

On the Friday morning that we went to the hospital to give birth to our baby, this was the car that was pulled up in front of us at Northwestern Prentice Women's Hospital. At that point we knew that it was going to be great day :)

Teaching George to read

Notice his smile. Seriously, he smiles every time he looks at his sis.

Oh George!

To counterbalance the insane bouts of fussiness and the concerning amount of vomiting, we are so lucky to have the smiliest 4 week old baby in the world. If he even glances at his sister an enormous gummy smile erupts, highlighting his adorable little dimple. It's the best.

Saugatuck

It's one of our favorite times of year again...spending time with family at the beach in Saugatuck. Our visit this year was short due to having a newborn and also Andrew's work schedule, but we were able to enjoy 2 quick weekends at the cottage. Our hands were a bit too full to snap more photos, but here are a few beach snapshots...

USA USA USA

Happy 4th of July! We spent the long weekend in EGR keeping busy and introducing family to Georgie. We stayed with Hamma and Bapa and spent an afternoon swimming at Kent, had dinner and drinks with Jon and LoLo, enjoyed the parade and waterski show in Gaslight Village, devoured ribs at Nonna and GW's, watched the fireworks and swam in the lake at Poppy and YaYa's house.
