So thirsty!

Eloise loves dogs. In fact, apparently she thinks that she is one occasionally. This week she began bending over and literally drinking from Maize's water dish. I always make her stop by giving her a stern "NO" and moving her away from the temptation. However, it must've be rather confusing today when I grabbed the camera and told her to go do it again.

We ♥ Nonna!

Thank you for coming Nonna and thanks for everything!

Valentine's Day

My good friend Brooke was in town for the weekend. We celebrated Valentine's Day together with a group of girls for dinner and (lots of) drinks. We had a wonderful time!

Tom, Ellie and Harry

Nonna and Grandpa Walker came to visit for the weekend while Andrew is away in Utah. After a delicious Valentine's Day brunch at Ann Sather, Grandpa Walker took Eloise to the ballpark to introduce her to Harry. Eloise is now officially scared of only two things...Santa Claus and Harry Caray statues. She was not a fan...notice her face in the following photo.

Eloise pulled clean, folded dish towels out of the kitchen drawer one by one and carefully placed each one on Maizie's head. Maize totally indulged Elle and just laid there for several minutes allowing herself to be buried in the towels.

Miami!

We had the best time in Florida! We stayed at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle in Aventura and would recommend the resort to anyone and everyone. The service was beyond wonderful, the rooms gigantic, the pools beautiful and relaxing, the ocean just a jog away, the restaurants delicious...obviously we were very impressed.

Eloise was a great traveler and seemed very happy in our home away from home. We kept her up later than usual going out to dinner then coming home, changing into our jammies and having picnics on the big bed. In the mornings, she slept in until around 10 am. Ahhhhh.

She loved the sand at the beach and even played quietly at times while we lounged and read. She loved the pool too...which was definitely not as relaxing for us. She would run towards the water in any direction and jump right in. She didn't even mind being dunked. We rented a car and explored the different neighborhoods, eating each night in a different area (South Beach, Aventura, Hollywood, Coral Gables). The plane rides were somewhat painful since she was so restless and busy (but happy at least). Oh well, the trip was well worth the stress of flying with a toddler.

Here's a slideshow of our favorite snaps...

Daddy & Daughter Hamm Jamm

Andrew taught Eloise how to play the harmonica. They were having such a solid jam session this morning that I didn't realize that it was the two of them playing together. I caught this short video right before Eloise got distracted and Maize stole the harmonica. I think that they sound pretty good together. And Andrew is happy that he has someone to play music with once again.
