What was once a gas station on our closest corner is now a much talked about Apple store. We spent the last couple of years walking past a vacant fenced lot and getting splashed by cars speeding past the decrepid curb. Apple was rumored to be building on the site, but the land sat empty. Then construction began and the scaffolding and construction overtook our neighborhood, blocking lanes of traffic and closing sidewalks. After dealing with this mess for more than a year, the Apple store made it's long awaited debut this weekend. It is magnificent and was actually worth it. What a beauty and a huge improvement to our fantastic neighborhood.
