We are so lucky to have just returned from another trip to the beach. We kicked off the weekend by celebrating Nonna's 60th birthday. Andrew returned home after the weekend, but the kids and I stayed until yesterday morning. Eloise had a great time with her cousins playing in the sand and refusing to go to bed. We not only ran around the sand and swam in the warm lake, but we wandered the towns of Saugatuck, Douglas and Holland and also went blueberry picking. It's always hard to leave on the last day of the cottage for the summer. We waved goodbye to the beautiful lake as we drove away to head back home (same lake at home, yes...but yet not quite the same). Eloise cried for home throughout the week, but since we've been home 1 day, she's been crying for the cottage and her family. She misses everyone already.
