Guess who's 9 months old...

Can you even believe it? He is surely a busy boy who keeps Mommy, Daddy, Sis and Pup Pup on our toes. Some of his favorite activites are...

playing Daddy's guitar

eating dog food

yanking his hat off

eating!
yogurt, bananas, cherrios, blueberries and applesauce are favs

not too keen on vegetables, but we keep trying

pulling up on everything

playing with trucks and balls

I'm biased, but I don't think that it gets much sweeter. Or cuter. Or smilier. We love you G.P.A.H.

Early spring weekend in GR

We had a nice and (mostly) sunny visit to EGR this weekend. We enjoyed visiting Aunt Ashley's new home - we are so happy for my sis and her girls to have a space all their own!, hot yoga and brunch with Poppy - not at all a beginner class but Poppy was great and really impressed me, porterhouse steaks and wine, church at St Marks, an irish lunch at Nonna and GW's with Aunt Sally and Kara/Ash and girls/Jon and Laura, Andrea's pizza, riding bikes and chalking all over the sidewalks, playing at Breton Down's playground with the Keyes foursome, and visiting our turtle Strawberry. Some snapshots of the weekend...

Dreaming and wishing

The American Girl catalog arrived in the mail earlier this week. Eloise excitedly flipped through and declared that she wants Kit, the doll that her cousin Olivia received for Christmas. She gushed over her freckles and her little bobbed hair...she simply loves everything about this doll. I told her that she could ask Santa for her and immediately we began a list to send to the North Pole. That night, she insisted on sleeping with her catalog and I tucked her into bed like so.

The next morning when she did her daily wake-up-and-climb-into-mommy-and-daddy's-bed routine, she shrieked "Where's my doll?" and ran back to her room to retrieve the wrinkled catalog. She's slept with the catalog every night since. When she woke up this morning, Andrew had to remove a silver dollar sized piece of glossy paper that was literally slobbered to her cheek. At bedtime tonight she explained to me, "When Santa brings me Kit I can throw this mazagine away." My mom started my nieces on American Girl when each of them turned 5 and I judgmentally thought that was way too young. We'll see if this obsession continues during the next 9 months, but oh man, we may have to leave this one up to Santa.

It's March!

Hamma and Boppa came for a visit. We went to the Adler Planatarium on Saturday.
A day of firsts - Boppa's first time at the Adler, Eloise's first movie (One World, One Sky starring Big Bird and Elmo), and George's first time eating 3 meals in one day.
