Only in Indiana...

this video peaks in the last few seconds

We spent Saturday night in downtown Indianapolis to attend a family wedding and enjoyed spending time with the Freeman side of my family. Our hotel was a block away from the NCAA games playing at Lucas Field. We really regret that we did not take any photos with our family at the wedding and reception. Eloise had a wonderful time at home with Hamma and Bapa. Thank you so much for coming to Chicago for the weekend to babysit!

Maize can wear a pigtail too!

Maize's has allowed this ponytail to stay in her hair all day. I think that she realizes that it helps her see since her hair is way too long right now.

More!

Eloise now uses both the sign and the word "more" when she wants more of anything. Reading books, drinking water, slapping high fives, and especially when getting attacked by Daddy...

St Patrick's Day with Nonna and Grandpa

In Chicago, we celebrate St Patrick's Day a few days early. Nonna and Grandpa Walker came for a visit to help us celebrate. Here is a recap of our day on Saturday...

I love reading books and Grandpa read to me all morning.

My hair is just about long enough for pigtails!
I don't like it when Mommy puts them in my hair, but it does look rather cute.

Here we are at the parade downtown.

Watching the marching bagpipes from Daddy's shoulders.

We had lunch at an Irish restaurant called Elephants & Castles.
A very loud band with men wearing funny skirts came and played a few songs for us.

Thanks for coming, Nonna and Grandpa. We had a very fun weekend with you!
