It's March!

Hamma and Boppa came for a visit. We went to the Adler Planatarium on Saturday.
A day of firsts - Boppa's first time at the Adler, Eloise's first movie (One World, One Sky starring Big Bird and Elmo), and George's first time eating 3 meals in one day.

Eloise goes skiing!

We took a weekend trip to Wisconsin to get our Eloise on the slopes. We went to Devil's Head Resort where we skied both with Elle and without while George played at the daycare (she joined him for part of the day). Eloise loved going fast down the hill and she loved the long chairlift rides. Andrew and I had so much fun skiing with her on the mountain and watching her go. Thank you so much Dave and Molly B for an extremely enjoyable weekend together.

Even city kids build snow forts

with the help from their daddy and dog, of course. This new and improved snow fort that they built this weekend had two doors, a skylight and window, a sledding hill and snow stairs. Pretty sweet.

Text updates from Nonna

We missed our kids when we were in Utah, but we did not worry about them at all. They were in excellent care with Nonna and Grandpa Walker. While they were mostly stuck at home thanks to the piles of snow and parking issues, they filled their days with baking and Valentine crafts and playing cards and working on numbers. My mom made me feel so in touch and happy with her many text messages throughout the days. Here are (most) of her texts and the photos that she sent. Thank you Nonna and GW...Eloise and George had a blast, and so did we.

1) OK you have the best kids in the world! So far George and I are dressed :)

2) Another good day. George took a great am nap. Elle said "quiet Maize, you're pissing me off." She looked at me and said...that's what my mommy says! L, M

3)

Working on numbers!

4) Ok advise me...Eloise is asking if Barney is wearing a costume. I said yes, hope that's not like a Santa question. Just wanted you to know. L, M

5)

Hope this makes you feel better! L, M
(in response to my annoying altitude sickness)

6)

Tal, sorry but breakfast is now served as a tea party. L, M

7)

We made snowmen indoors. Whoops!

8)

We're making a whole village of snow people and using up your food coloring. L, M

P P P Park City

We spent 4 glorious days at my new favorite ski town, Park City Utah. We skiied, we strolled Main Street, we ate carbs, we talked to our peanuts on the phone, we slept in and took long showers, I enjoyed the spa at Sundance, we cheered on Molly B's Packers, Andrew went sledding, I drank (lots of) tea, we spent quality time with our bros and ladies. I really like skiing. Love it in fact. And I'm proud of my skillz on the hillz. We can't wait to buckle our boots back on and get our little Belle's on the slopes SOON.
