A favorite activity at our house is coloring. We don't want to leave little brother out on the fun, so we've been giving him a crayon to hold in his tiny hands. He loves any chance to be close to his sis.

Ouch!
Yesterday afternoon entailed a fall off the couch landing face first into a crayon tin, several calls to the doctor, daddy coming home from work twice, ice ice and more ice, tears from Ellebelle and Mommy, and a trip to the ER. She is okay, very bruised, sleepy and a total trooper.

Pony Girl
We had a great weekend at home. We got some things done around the house including cleaning out the garage and organizing closets in the basement, we played with neighbors outside on the front sidewalk, we strolled all over and enjoyed the weather, we went to a street festival and grilled delicious burgs. Andrew ran the Rock n Roll half marathon on Sunday morning with an impressive time of 1:45. And in other news, Andrew was stuck in an elevator at our storage unit after hours on Saturday evening. Thank you Chicago Fire Department for rescuing my husband.
Even city kids get a chance to ride a pony once in awhile.
