First haircut!

Our bald baby girl got her very first haircut today...at 2 years and 4 months old. We went to Kid Snips and had such a fun time! The lady put a Dora video on the little tv and Eloise sat very still in her yellow Hummer and truly enjoyed her first big girl haircut. Plus she got a necklace, a balloon, a lollipop, and new hair accessories; while I got a certificate with her photo and a lock of hair. She is now sporting a darling little bob, but still long enough for those trademark piggies.

Happy Valentine's Day

We heart Valentine's Day and have had a wonderful weekend. The celebration began with a fabulous dinner out for Nat and Drew on Saturday night (we celebrated our 15th Valentine's together this year...Holy smokes!) and continued on Sunday with heart shaped pancakes, open houses, a late lunch out and an early bedtime for Bonzo. We really feel that this typically fairly unexciting and manufactored "holiday" is so much more spectacular with our little cupid. We love sharing these days with her and forming our own family traditions and memories. We are bursting with love for her and feel so so lucky.

Last night while brushing her teeth, Eloise claimed that she has Mommy's brown eyes and brown hair, and Daddy's racoon breath and bushy eyebrows. I never noticed that her eyebrows were especially bushy, however she sure is right about that matching hot breath.
